The baseboards were installed before the floors were put in – why, I cannot say, it should have been done afterward.
However, now that they have had to float the floors up again to make them smooth, I do not believe the tiles will fit under the baseboards, and will need to be removed and reinstalled if necessary.
To butt the tiles up against the baseboards I can’t accept, I will stop the job before I allow it.
